Well, I never really could get a flow like Freddie Joachim, Ackryte, or Repeat Pattern as far as hip hop goes...But uhh...yeah, there's a few weird ones in there:  www.soundcloud.com/j_a_a_b

What DAWs are you guys using?
I'm running Reason 5.0.1 with FLS10 rewired on the very, very rare occasion.

For every deal that happens, there's 20 behind it that fall through.
It's probably some aluminum/unicorn horn alloy.

Everything I've made has been on various iPad applications, atm I'm trying to figure out FruityLoops, and I am considering purchasing either Ableton or Reason.

My personal opinon: Purchase Reason, Acquire Ableton.
You can't "acquire" the latest version of Reason, which is really a shame.  But, you can rewire everything together.

Recently I've been teaching myself FL Studio so I can rewire more effectively, and teach my friend how to use it when he rebuilds his machine.

I like the way Reason works, and if it wasn't for the things I lack in 5.0.1, I would probably never switch to any other DAW except on special occassions.

Anyways, just my thoughts.

No one will see this, I'm sure; but I figure I'd leave it here anyways.

2MR2 Records had a remix contest this past month for Morphi'A -- Time Machine released under their label.  I took a whack at it...and, when you listen to it...this is the first remix I've ever actually done, let alone released.  Its the same basic genre, and other than the melody and lead sound, not much else from the original was used.

What do you guys think?
