I have a plastic container of noise putty called Flarp.  It takes a really special touch and skill to get good sounds out of it.  Could that be considered a skill toy?

NO!   ;)

The Moscow Circus is in my town for two weeks, and they are putting on an hour show twice a day.  I saw them today, and there was a woman who did amazing things with a Hula Hoop.  I think it can be considered a skill toy...

Here are vids of the Hula Hoop in the Moscow Circus (this was not taped in my town):

Here is Rebecca Higby doing Hula Hoop in a show with John.  You can find it at 00:49 and 01:43

Rola Bola

Fun on it's own and even better when combined with other skilltoys as well.
