Are there any hgg tip/grip subs?

the new "RSVP RT"
the best sub you can find in the US

then Anyball/Profile
then G2
then 1 +1/2 of rsvp grip

for tips you could look for G-tecs at staples or signos

anyone got a link to a good store where i can get a good pen at?

penwish or jetpens
penwish has premade mods already

hint if you want to make a mod right now by going to staples or something
back cap a pentel rsvp (you might need an extra grip)
an rsvp mx- you need a Pentel hgg and Pentel rsvp/sunburst. Problem- you can't really find hgg's in USA stores anymore...
an rsvp CX- you need two rsvp caps, two grips, and one rsvp body. Problem- you need a saw and/or drill
remember, you can always substitute parts.

if you really want a good mod- try and make a KT, Waterfall, or Lemon- see upsb(wiki) for details
wait this is probably a stupid question but i know nobody that does this and i want to start. whats a back cap and do i need to buy off of penwish

heavier= better for learning, slower, smoother BUT more tiring
lighter= less tiring BUT faster, harder to control
some mods break this rule, like the waterfall or overground. Kam says he uses lighter mods during the day, and at night/home, he uses heavier mods.

imo, I just use med/heavy mods since my fingers are used to it

Im going to a penspinners gathering today, this is gonna be fun.
I'm pretty impressed by anyone who can look at a drawing and decide how well the yoyo will play.

Umm...
I have sonic down consistently now and have had thumbaround for a loong time.
I am trying to make a combo where i do thumbaround and catch it between fingers 2 and 3 then doing sonic, but i can't eleminate the little pause between them. Any tips on how to do it faster?

Also, do you have any tips for someone learning charge?
I can do a single charge occasionaly, but never more than 1 at a time.
Looking for an SFX!

It's not a great pen mod.
Beifa Grips are hard to find (like really hard), and slick pen grips are in France =/
Just substitute if you want to make one, but it's not great or anything.

Uh do parts of the combos over and over again. If you do tricks as slow as you can, it helps you develop the trick smoothly, better, etc. Trust me.

(edit) - i.e. take it apart, repitition, etc. I'm pretty sure penspinning relies on mostly muscle memory and flexibility/dexterity.

I just use normal pencils now. I tried an rsvp but it was too thick. I sometimes use a double eraser pencil.
So, I wouldn't buy anything special for beginner tricks...

That's not true. I'd recommend any RSVP mods for beginners, mostly cause it's better for you. It's not thick compared to markers or drumsticks. Far from it. And any penspinning pen is better than a pencil. (Unless the pen is too heavy for it.) It's NOT like how in yoyoing, "no other unresponsive yoyos will help you learn much faster" than the one you have. You need the momentum in "better" pen mods, which you DO NOT GET in a pencil.  O0

So getting at least something more than a pencil will help you learn faster (mostly due to the length and momentum aspect). However, if it isn't balanced, then use something else. =P

Hope this clarifies things.

I'm not saying that the RSVP wasn't a good pen, i was saying that it was too thick and short for MY preferences.

You can get any pen you want, but i think a pencil will get you through the basics like it did for me.

Did you back cap it with a grip inside the cap? It should be long enough.... Cutting the clip will help too.
sry I just get annoyed when people don't believe a psing pen makes it easier, making their own contraptions work, or that ligher pens are always "the way to go."

congrats on your double charging  ;D

edit- dang sry for being so grumpy lately. I guess that's life.
