I'm a little late to the party, but thanks for doing this, and all you've done for yo-yoing.

The short of it is that the YYN store went out of business for reasons I won't get into - you can search the internet for info about it if you're interested. Chris Allen took over the forum for a while and did us the favor or preserving all the history here. But people kind of drifted away. Without a store, folks turned to other stores, and eventually no one was posting on YYN any longer. JD picked it up and reopened the forum. As I'm sure you've noticed, there's not a ton of activity. But it remains a great resource.
Finger Lakes Yoyo Club in Ithaca, NY - PM me for details.
At least 15% of what I say is true.

I know it takes time and money, but is there a plan for a phone app or at least a mobile friendly version? I know the only reason i pop on YYE randomly is cause its on my phone.

If the new owner plans to continue to work on this project, he can migrate to discourse. This is what yye did and their forum feels so good now.
