Post your PC specs
« on: October 28, 2011, 07:22:30 AM »
Like the title says, post you PC specs (and even a pic if you like).  If you have a build you are working on or just dreaming about post that too!

I'm running Windows 7 on...

i7 2600k @ 4.0 GHz (hope to hit at least 4.5GHz this weekend)
ASUS Sabertooth p67
8G Corsiar RAM
EVGA gtx570 clocked @ 750 (hope to get the core clock up to around 850-900 if I can)
WD Caviar Black 1TB HHD
CoolerMaster HAF X
Corsiar 850 Watt PSU

I've added an extra fan to the case and a budget water cooler to the CPU.  Future plans include an SSD boot drive and a second gtx570, but sadly computer parts cost a bit than yoyos so they'll have to wait.  Iíll post a pic when I get home this evening.

I will use the specs from my gaming computer. The one I am posting from now is in a Thermaltake full tower and I built it with storage in mind as opposed to speed. I have 4GB of RAM and 2317 GB of space over all the hard drives attached to the computer right now and there is another 500 GB drive sitting here waiting to be used.

On to the gaming computer:
ASUS M2N SLI motherboard
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5800+  ~3.0GHz
2 GB of RAM
750 GB hard drive
ATI Radeon HD 4870 GDDR5
Running Vista Ultimate

I love building computers but I have other hobbies now so there is no money for it. I will be buying more hard drives now that I have an external SATA enclosure though ;D.

2011 MacBook Pro
2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Memory
320 GB Harddrive
It keeps me happy with what I use it for. I got it for Highschool for work and stuff. I'm hoping to use BootCamp to run Windows 7 on it aswell.

Just bought this off a friend for a reasonable price, but:

Mac Pro
12-core 2.66 ghz Intel Xeon
32 GB RAM
256 GB ssd
2 TB @7200

also have a mid-2011 macbook pro. I wanted to throw down for a gaming computer at some point but I'm probably just going to dualboot the mac pro.

Home-built computer :]
Processor: AMT Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor// 2.4GHz
RAM: 2.00GB
Hard Drive: 150GB [partitioned into C and F - 50 & 100GB]
Hard Drive: 150GB [G]
1GB RAM GFX card.

I know that my specs are trash, but I've had this for 3 years and it's still going strong for me :]
Me like it, at least :3

I'm soon to be getting a MacBook Pro to focus on photos and video. I'll give my current rig to my little brother afterwards and just save up for another Windows desktop. I've always wanted a Windows desktop and an Apple notebook in my workdesk. Best of both worlds.
I think I need to stop reading too much forum threads and start yoyoing for once.

3gb RAM
HDD1- 150GB VelociRaptor
HDD2- 1TB (for storage)

I SUCK beyond belief at those types of games. I'd just embarrass myself. Especially on PC. I do want to buy a game that showcases all the pretty stuff my computer can do though.
