Hey guys,

I need to try a yyf Whip and a One before I order for the school club,
would anyone have them and be down for a meet ?

Whip > One.
One is, IMO, unstable.

If you were to get a cheap plastic, get the Whip.

Thanks for your input, mate,

Would you happen to know how they compare to kickside ? this is what I usually buy for the yoyo club  but I was thinking about changing, since the yyf are a bit cheaper.

Can I make them responsive enough for the basic and then thin oil them when the kids are ready to move on to binding and whatnot ?

Kicksides, IMO, are horrendous. In the end, they never become unresponsive as they are supposed to.

If you feel that thin oil does not make a yoyo responsive enough, some thick lube will. I personally use vaseline if necessary to do this.

Apparently a family friend of mine was at the Mont Royal library and asked a yoyoer there offhandedly if they knew me. And apparently they did! Small world! Any idea who that was?
